Joseph 'Joe' McFadden (born on 9 October 1975 in Glasgow) is a television actor (Take the High Road, Sex, Chips & Rock n' Roll, The Crow Road). He is also known for playing PC Joe Mason in Heartbeat and has starred in such films as The Trouble with Men and Women, Dad Savage and Small Faces.

On stage he has appeared in productions as diverse as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Rent and Rainbow Kiss.

He was educated at Holyrood R.C. Secondary School in Glasgow where drama teacher Camille Skilling saw his potential and recommended him for a small part in Taggart.

On 8 August 2009, it was announced that McFadden will be a guest star in Casualty. He will play Alistair, a homeless man who bonds with one of the paramedics.
